All of the typical options for this model year.

Addons:
Reverse glow white gauges
PIAA Headlight bulbs
PIAA H3 IN Crystal Fogs
Stock High beams
ART Slotted Rotors on all 4 corners www.appliedrotortechnology.com
2 year old wiper arms on all three wipers
JDM Alcyone SVX Center Tail Light
JDM Hood Badge
After Market Alarm System with interior/exterior radar (Mfd by Code Alarm)
LED Brake Lights (Mfd by Catz)

Problems:
Tranny is starting to slip, but it is still drive-able. I am however not driving it.
Small crack (spider) in the windshield (low center, out of LoS) About the size of a Gatorade Bottle Cap. (see pics)
Paint peeling on half of the hood and the very top of the drivers side quarter panel. (see pics)
Paint scratches??? On the spoiler... I have no idea how these happened, other than the sun maybe? (see pics)
a few leftover key marks from some @ssholeThere is some touch-up work over the majority of the marks... (see pics)
Exhaust has a hole in it before the primary Cat converter.
Drivers seat worn (see pics)

Other than the paint issues, and a few door dings (see pics) the body is perfect. ZERO RUST.

This is a PERFECT 5MT project car. Many of you know me, and have seen the car, and know that I take care of it... also about two years ago, I had a lot of engine work done on it. Let me find the thread...

I have a few spare parts, including:
a brand new owners manual set
center console door
extra sun visor
extra button panels (cruise/hazard/etc...) (Left and right side)
new brake pads
new rear speaker grills
possibly a few other misc pieces

Pictures below

I have a minimum price in mind, and its not a lot considering the current issues. But I will start by entertaining offers via PM.

Let me restate, that I am NOT asking a lot for this, so please don't be intimidated by the lack of price, a simple PM will net you many answers.

I am selling it because with the transmission on its way out, I simply cant afford to keep her on the road anymore. Between gas mileage, and a 1 year old son... I just cant do it.

EDITS IN BOLD... I typed this up at work, and couldn't remember a lot of it...

Here is the thread detailing my 60K maintenance when I was up in NJ. Plus you can see that some other work was done as well. And as it turns out, this was 2 years ago... boy time flies!

If I cannot get the car to sell, I will consider parting it out.

What was the mileage when you did the 60 K maintenance? It looks like you have 160k on it now, so is that the last major service you did to it?

RSVX

yes, that was the last major service, I would have to take a look at the paperwork to figure out the mileage. I hope to dig that up while taking pictures.

My guess would be about 130k was when it was done.

OK, I have the pictures, and I will post them after I get back from taking my wife to get an MRI...

There are some more things to add to the description as well.

More to come.

is the foot pump in the trunk included with the car? :p j/k....How bad is the tranny? slipping out of gear? slow to shift? will it make it up the street or does it have a few good trips left? Thanks

It drives. In fact I had to drive it to work today... Basically its slow to shift out of first, and into second, and the 2-3 shift is slow, and sometimes abrupt. I have found that if I delicately accelerate, and let off the gas a bit when I want it to shift, it shifts just fine the majority of the time. The largest portion of my 10 mile commute is highway, and it runs strong on the highway.

Some of that might be fixed simply by adjusting the band brake.

Explain, please?

Unfortunately, thats true!

She's off the market. It took $14.62 to fix her! Thanks a million Matt! (Aka. Immortal_suby)

OK, Brake band adjustment worked wonders, and we found/fixed a few more issues along the way. Needless to say, its like a new car again.

It turns out the (for the lack of a better term) the air box that attaches to the throttle body was isntalled improperly, and was not forming a good seal, thats where the lost power went. We also adjusted the brake band, and my shift flare is GONE. Shifts PERFECTLY. So, since we were there, we repalced/bled my brake fluid, tightened up the old throttle cable and replaced a gorund wire that was shorted/melted. Oh, we made sure all the wheels were torque properly as we found one that was WAY too tight and that caused the slight high speed wobble I had. Went ahead and replaced the air filter too.

The only reason i was looking to sell it was because I was afraid that I couldnt afford to fix it, well... $14.62 later, shes all new again.
