What is actually your tranny problem?

I have a stock 4EAT tranny with no good front differential. The stock tranny was good and rebuilt like 15k ago.

I can possibly deliver the tranny myself to you by renting a subcompact car, if the rental fee and gas were provided. way cheaper and faster than the shipping company.

Front differential has been grinding for a while, it recently got a whole lot louder and (consequently?) the shifting has become erratic. Just cruising 60 on the highway I could feel it trying to shift at least 2 times per minute, it would occasionally slip out of gear while trying to do this too. I had some slippage before, but mostly just 1st into 2nd.

Sounds like you have both front differential and tranny problems......too bad, my front diff is no good either.

You should stop driving the car anymore, it would stop anytime...it already gives you warnings as the sounds is louder and louder...
