well, a couple hours ago my car went in for the tranny re-build. i'm paying $1200 instead of the $800 i thought i was but it's still a pretty good price in my opinion. and i didn't have to tell this guy anything about the car because his shop is right next to a SUBARU dealership and any time an SVX comes in (for tranny problems) they send it to him so he knows the car. he's gonna replace all the parts with the up-dated parts that are in the later models and the transmission does have a warranty for a year. so i'll let you guys know how it went when it's all done.
