How many miles are on it? Any cracked glass? Was the trans rebuilt if so when? Any recent mechanical work performed? What sort?

This will help you sell the car.

Good luck on the sale. Let whoever buys it know about this site so they can take good care of it. :) What are the last 3 numbers in the VIN (after 101)? :)

Price reduction, now $3995!!!!

Come and get it. :)
If you want $4000, say $4000. Don't play the marketing game.

I went to a car dealership once where the prices were all typically $X999. I was interested in a car that was marked $4999. Here's my story:

Me: $5000 is too much for this car, (normal dickering).
Him: What are you talking about, it's only $4000.
Me: Oh, you're willing to knock $1000 off that quickly?
Him: No.
Me: (Confused) The car is marked $5000, you're saying it's $4000, that's $1000 off, basic math.
Him: No. We always round it off to the first number in the price.
Me: I still think $5000 is too much for this car.
Him: It's not $5000, it's $4000.
Me: So you're agreeing that $5000 is too much for this car and you're counter offering $4000?
Him: No.

This went on a little bit longer, I turned and walked away while he was in the middle of another 'explanation'. I got in my car to leave. As I was sitting at the exit waiting for a hole in traffic, he came over and asked me "So, do you want to take it for a test drive?" I rolled up the window and hit the gas!

True Story . . .
Dan

PS: Sorry for the rant :o, but when I saw your 'Price reduction' this little bit of history popped into my mind.

I reduced the price becasue I have found something I need the money for sooner than I thought and am now willing to take less to make it sell faster.

No hidden meaning. :D

Would have presented so much better with a wash/wax and detail. Gotta wonder if previous owner carried a rat tail comb in his back pocket. Hope the new owner joins up and gives her the care she deserves. :)
