I am using the Optima battery red34- top terminal only, Optima #8002-0020 (34-980). I don't need the extra side terminals.

Advance Auto Parts has it for $118.00. Their part no. is 16080022

Their is also a height adapter 242-0018 that Optima will send to you if you need to keep in higher in your stock battery box. I took the black plastic battery box out since Optimas dont leak. Makes for a very clean installation.

The red top I have has both top and side terminals, and I kept the battery box in, got a couple of height adjusters from WallyWorld for free, but have thought about removing the battery box in which case wouldn't need the adjusters, just a different "hold-down"

I also have the top and side terminal red top..I simply cut a portion of the battery cover out for the cables to fit properly...at the time I didnt think of the height adjusters..turned out good anyways..

I used the stock tie-down (had it aluminum ceramic coated). I just threaded the j-bolts down a little further.

Put the battery in without the box, put the stock hold down in place and see how much you have to cut off of the bolts to allow just enough to thread on any wingnuts, bolts, etc. I used chrome, knurled air cleaner knobs on mine. 1/4=x20.

I actually have the Optima yellow top, Deep cycle battery. I'm planning on juicing up the electronics a bit and just felt better having it like that.

Then again, I'm paranoid.
