lets all just come to the conclusion that "driving" in mud won't do that to your car ;)

I cant say im entirely sure myself actually....lol. And yes...i was just driving in the mud...the car just tends to get dirty quickly when all four wheels are throwing mud simultaneously:p

I can't see how driveing in the mud that the tires could fling mud up like that. I think the mud was thrown at it.

Have you ever seen people go mud bogging? Dirt is thrown everywhere afterwards. Trust me, Andrew is from the country and he got his car dirty the ol' fashioned way... ;)

I've gone mud boggin in My Forester allot. As hard as I try I can never get my Forester that Muddy. I have a 2" lift and mud terrain tires. Most of mud is flinged inside the wheel wheels as well the side of the fenders. I never can get it on the roof. I can get the hood though If I splash through a big puddle. My tires and wheels will also be totally cacked. I wouldn't dare take my SVX Mud bogging. It is too low to the ground and it will get stuck immeddiatly with the all-season tires. This SVX has clean wheels. Can't till if there is mud inside the wheel wells. the hood is clean as well. Most of the mud seem to comes from the roof down like someone dumped mud on it. I'm not convinced this SVX actually went mud bogging. I would also expect damage to the bumpers from hitting ground if it really went mud bogging.

I never said he went mud bogging - I mentioned that as an example of how mud can get everywhere on a car.

Andrew was driving around in a snowy/muddy field. The thing is, we don't know if he was alone or if there was another car(s) he was doing this with. His wheels are clean b/c when he got to the main road, everything was a watery slush (due to the salt), and basically this would have cleaned off his wheels. Cars driving infornt of him would have sprayed this same water onto his hood and windshield. This is why his hood has a watery dirty look to it...

I know Andrew and he wouldn't have taken those pics unless he got his car that dirty in reality.

Ok maybe it is possible if there is another vehicle like a big truck flinging mud onto the SVX. here's what my forester looks like when I drive in Mud.

Well see the key here is slippery mud donuts...when you have four tires throwing crap into the air, it tends to get well....anywhere. I would NEVER take my SVX mudbogging, i love her too much. I was just in a wet grassy pasture of mine, doing donuts.
