Polishing intake Manifolds?

Has anyone polished just the intake manifold?
Does it need polishing? Since most manifolds have the rough finishing from casting. I know polishing would definitely help if the engine had turbo or supercharger done up. I'm estimating the hp gain to be around 5-10
