Do i even need this if i did the "disconnect resistor" mod?

The disconnect resistor is a transmission mod.
The ECU bead crush is an engine computer mod.
Not sure what you are looking for with ROM socket - the ECU has a socket but only longassname's chip or a very expensive chip from australia will go in there.

It said in another thread not to cut the tan resistor if there was something in a ROM socket. Also i thought the resistor mod was supposed to reduce "hesitation" and give firmer shifts and the ECU crush reduces hesitation. I need a stage 1 bad!!!

If there is already something in the ROM socket, then no, don't do the ECU crush. On early cars, the ECU crush will remove the hesitation, NOT firm up shifts. That is controlled by the TCU.

Keep in mind, when he uses the word "wire"
he means "cable"
and it only takes about 5 minutes under the hood :)
