As discussed on a previous thread I have decided to start the ball rolling by giving the details of the workshop I used this week to service my car in the hope that it can be of use to others looking for a place to carry out work on their beloved SVX.
I used Protechnical in Nailsea which is just outside Bristol and I have to say I found them excellent. They did the work efficiently, kept me informed of all eventualities, their pricing was very reasonable and they had a good knowledge of SVX's.
As I live two hours drive away they arranged for me to have a hire car for the four days my car was there at a cost of £20 per day. In fact the car they provided was a little cracker; a brand new Peugeot 206 SW with electric everything, aircon, alloy wheels, you name it.:)
Protechnical have extensive workshop facilities, working on rare and imported cars and have 12 bays to carry out this work. They also sell cars and have a forecourt and showroom stocked with various interesting imports including today a Plymouth Prowler (yum yum).
All in all I was very pleased with the work undertaken, the amount I was charged and how they dealt with me as a customer. If you want any more info just ask or go direct to them by clicking on the link:
