does anyone know what model subaru has an auto 3.90 tranny in it?? im thinking it was a legacy turbo tranny but the year i have no idea...thinking about a second svx to be my project due to my current svx being a daily driver now...i was thinking of the 3.90 cause i was thinking it would be faster and not give up as much top end and the auto would still be easier than a 5speed converson...does anyone make the rear part of the svx for the awd to make it different fit the 3.90?? im not looking foward to trying to make that fit the legacy parts into the svx housing...any info is very welcome

So is it possible to swap the gears out of a 5spd front diff into a 4spd front diff?
