well the only times i'm off is tues wed, of every week except for thxgiving week, i'm off wed thurs hurrah, getting paid for 6 days work!

anyway... mike wants to have a coctail party of some sort.... i'm sure he has more specific details..
he said he was gonna post it but he hasn't yet, he should have details soon

Pittsburgh area SVX Holiday Cocktail Party

All of regular Pittsburgh area SVX owners are invited to an evening in the country to enjoy some drinks, Hors d' Oeuvres, and of course, a good time! This will be held at my townhouse in Slippery Rock. (Just up Rt79 from the city)

I'm shooting for some time near the beginning - mid december, but the date is totally flexible.

Let's find a date that is good for everyone and get an attedance list going, also.

It's bound to be a who's who of SVX owners!

mid dec....thats what im rooting for....that drive was a nice drive...hmm turnpike 4hrs later im there...thats only 8hrs of driving good bonding time for me and my newly daily driver svx man it feels good to say that daily driver svx (crosses fingers on this tranny)

Thanks for asking. I got all of the boxes and some smaller furniture over to the new house. This Saturday is when all of the big stuff is being moved.
So far nothing has broken.......knock on wood:D :D

and just in case you were wondering i haven't unpacked any of my pictures yet:D :D :p

OK here are the details=

Friday December 12 at 6:30 at my house in Slippery Rock.

Directions:

From Pittsburgh:

Take I-79 North to the Slippery Rock / Slippery Rock University Exit.
At the top of the ramp go left
My house is on the left about 2.5 miles up the road.

From Erie:

Take I-79 South to the Slippery Rock / Slippery Rock University Exit.
At the top of the ramp go left
My house is on the left about 2.5 miles up the road.

From the Turnpike (east and west)

Take the PA turnpike to the "Warrendale" exit.
Pay toll and follow signs for I-79 NORTH
Take I-79 North to the Slippery Rock / Slippery Rock University Exit.
At the top of the ramp go left
My house is on the left about 2.5 miles up the road.

It is an orange brick building with 3 garage doors.
The address is 348 New Castle Street.
There is room for 4-5 SVX's in my driveway, and plenty of room for parking at the funeral home up the street.

I'll have all the staples as far as drinks are concerned, but if anyone has any special requests, please let me know so I can go to the store and get it. I'll also have some munchie type food. If anyone would like to bring a bottle of wine or some food, you're more than welcome to do that. Please just let me know what you're bringing.

Any age to attend, 21 to drink.

In an effort to keep this within my limited end-of-semester college budget, why dont you guys tell me what you're intersted in having there as far as drinks... I was thinking we must make this a wine and beer thing (I'm pretty poor right now) Also, any suggestions as far as food? Amanda- You're good at this sort of thing? any suggestions?

I would like to add this to the directions (much to my dismay). My neighbors have put up the most tacky display of holiday decorations i've ever seen in my life, so my place is not difficult to find. I'm the place directly after the house with all the light up plastic figurines. :mad:
