Ok,

Saturday, October 11th, 11-3 at Tri-State Subaru in the center of the universe known as Webster, MA. SVX, WRX, STI Meet. Free food, possibly some prizes, and of course the Tech talk. I'm hoping that the Super Impreza will be there. It's a homemade STI......a 94 (?) Impreza with a phase II 2.5L block and phase I 2.5L heads, plus a huge turbo. Even with an auto tranny it is just a hair slower than the STI.....this thing is so cool!

Dave

P.S. DAN! Good to hear from ya buddy! Can't wait to see you! Hope all is well!!!!

The deal with the STI/WRX meet AND the SVX meet at the same time is:

1) As one of the coordinators I had always insisted in the past on two seperate meets. This time, however, I have nothing to do with the planning, prizes, etc. I'm just another guy with an SVX. I've decided to take a break and just be part of the fun. Tri-State is in charge of everything this time.

2) 3 car lines=more people=more fun=good for everybody

Adam, Subafreak is right YOU HAVE TO BE THERE! I don't care if you drive down in a Yugo. And yes, I do believe that there is an STI begging us to molest her.

Dan, no I'm not going to that show. I went to some car show last November in Boston.....is this the same one?

Dave-O

p.s I might also bring my sickly 94 2WD....if it can limp it's way to Webster........

Well, it looks like I'll be bringing both of my SVX's next weekend. It would have worked out perfect for Adam if my 94's tranny worked better. For now I think I'm just going to drive it there for display only....no scenic drive. I'll use the 95 for that.
How many cars does that make now?

Looks like 6 plus my 2. 8 is a pretty good turnout. I wonder how many WRX's will show?

okay, it's offical, i'm coming :D

i wasn't sure how i was gonna get TO webster (neither of my vehicles are very road-worthy right now) but i found a ride. my buddy Nick is coming with me and we're taking his green Legacy Wagon.. this is the car that the two of us drove 10,000 miles in 25 days.. it might not be an SVX, but it's got a horizontally-opposed powerplant and a story to tell..

see you all saturday :D

-adam

ps. dave.. i take 190 > 290 > ???

Alright folks, those of you coming from the South, take exit 2 off of Rt. 395 North. Tri-State will be straight across the exit ramp, on the left. Those of you coming from the North, take Rt. 290 West to Rt. 395 South and take exit 3. Take a left at the end. Tri-State will be about a mile down the road on your right. From the Mass Pike, take exit 10 and follow the signs for Auburn/Webster/Rt. 395 South. Take exit 3, and take a left at the end of the exit. Tri-State will be about a mile down on your right.

See ya there

Geez guys, I had to overcome an emergency clutch pedal repair and I still made it. You guys need to get your prioritys in order. At least we didn't have to pull over much to wait for straglers during the ride.
