According to the latest poll, the preferred date and location for Reading 6 seems to be
April 8-10, 2004 at the Morgantown Holiday Inn

Unless we get a revised and updated poll to counter this, I would like to contact the Morgantown Holiday Inn early next month and get the contract to reserve the block of rooms at the quoted rates.

Only 19 have signed up so far... how embarrassing! You guys know you are going to come no matter when or where it is, so why not commit?

The meet officially is Friday, April 8 through Sunday morning, April 10. Rooms are available for Friday night (8th) and/or Saturday night (9th).

Most memberswho travel any distance stay both nights (staying up late on saturday night) and leaving Sunday late morning after checkout. I usually get there around 1pm on Friday afternoon and watch as the meet comes alive.

For you, the trip from Beach Haven to Morgantown should be about a 150 miles, 2.5 hours.

I will be Co-driving a VW at Rally New York the weekend after Reading and really don't have the money to support the trip to Reading, then back to SC, then back up to NY the week later and back... Not to mention the price of my Firesuit and helmet and intercom... $$$$.... Plus, I don't have the SVX this time anyway :(... It just wouldn't be the same if I were to show up... I have me a G Tech as well. Not the most accurate thing but, consistantly inaccurate so that you can tell if changes have been sucessful. I think the bes time I have in my XT now is 7.1 to 60.

im out i have a debate that friday about a new local law limiting that amount of non related people allowed to rent a house to 2. being a college town alot of students rent 4 bed houses, if this law passes they will be forced to move into an already overcrouded dorm. the law is in violation of the equal opertunity housing law but the local population eather doesnt care or doesnt know, time to educate those fools.

Well it turns out I will be running a clinic on typical SVX repair and maintenance on saturday.
1. I will be doing exhaust gaskets springs bolts nuts, the works on Ciscokid's car(my old baby).
2. I will be installing stainless steel brake lines on the same car.
3. If I have time, I will be doing Chike's front oil seals and timing belt.

If anyone has some small thing they would like to know how to do let me know, not much time in the day for much more than that. At least outside of a garage that is.

Thanks man :).... It sure is good being a Sergeant now :) Everywhere I go it's "Good morning Sergeant".... Sure is alot better than being a Corporal :D I'll be back next year, with a better and prettier SVX (same one, just much more improved :D)... In a way I'm kinda glad that I had that accident...
