WHAT!?!?!!? That's AWESOME!! It got fifth place even(out of 54 cars)!! 1000km (620miles) on ice and snow covered roads!! Sounds like fun! Look at the wheels and tires it has! The rally lights look cool too! I was actually thinking about mounting some on my SVX in the same area! We have to get a hold of those guys, and get them into this club!

I'm jealous! I want to do a rally! I'd lift up my car though, just for a little more ground clearance (insurance)! I wonder what spring rate Ground Control would recommend for rallying with their adjustable ride-height coil-overs?

I followed some links and found even MORE photos of the SVX in the Rally. Here they are. Enjoy!

Sharon and I used to rally a '80 Subaru Wagon. Most were TSD's but a fellow from town set up some pro-rally type events. We only ran two, but we won both. (And that was with a 90hp car! - Some guys kidded me that Subaru only put AWD in their cars in case you tried to pass someone without a clear view to the horizon.) It's been said that Subaru showed Paul Hogan a pro-rally SVX and when he laughed out loud, they were offended and gave up on the project. All I can say is, "Thanks Paul!"
