To All Mid-Atlantic (NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD, etc.) SVXers

I'm thinking of planing a weekend meet in Atlantic City in late Jan. or early Feb. 2004. Prices will be lower at those times and Atlantic City will be very very uncrowded. I will start planing for this in Sept.
I would like anyone who is interested to post here so I can get some idea of a count. I expect about 6-12 SVXes.
Anyone who has any comments or suggestions or wants to help in planing is also welcome.

I'll be well settled in in south jersey by then. I think Atlantic City is bought a 45min drive from Wildwood normally. So I could be there in about 15min in Jan or Feb. Nice open parkway. Just have to slow down a little at the toll boothes. I dont want to clip the curb as I blow them off. (LOL) I hate all those damn tolls. (NJ - the Toll Booth State). Gives up some more info when you get it.

Hmm, I'll be legal by then but not legal enough to gamble :P

Mike,

I will official start working on this Meet in Sept. after Labor Day. I just posted it here to get opinions & suggestions.

I'd originally envisioned it as a one day (Saturday) meet for local NJ & Philly region SVXers. Now I'm not so sure, maybe a 2 day meet (Sat. & Sun.) would work better.

Feb? It would be a little cold for crewsin the boardwalk wouldn't it?

I suspect there wouldn't be much standing in the parking lot checking out each others cars. It sounds like fun. The SVX would be sleeping for the winter still, but it would be a good chance to cruise the Loyal to a meet.

I once spent an entire weekend in Atlantic City, with out a hotel room. Heres to the little accomplishments.

Only once??? When I was in HS we hitch hiked down every weekend in the summer and never with a hotel/motel/rooming house room.

Slept on chaises around a convenient motel pool or found someone with a room.

Mike,

Welcome aboard. Glad you can help. I will P/M you in Sept. Hopefully we can meet up on a weekend at the Joisey Shorrrre for planning.

To all those afraid of snow; please remember that the SVX was designed to be driven, even in inclement weather.
