Please post what weekend would work the best for you to participate in this special event.

"Tarboo Bay SVX Seafood Extravaganza"

This is a remote area near Quilcene (30 miles south of Port Townsend) where there is a warm water bay where you can swim, water ski, fish, beach comb, or lay around in the sun. This event will start on a Friday afternoon, and end on Sunday afternoon. Rooms with beds are available on a limited basis, and there is an area for camping with or without tents.

Seafood will be provided. I will have Oysters (half shell and cooked), Dungeness Crab, Steamer Clams, and fried Butter Clams. I may have salmon as well, depending on the weekend.

What to bring - food to compliment or go with seafood meals, drinks, and sleeping bags. I will have more details later.

If you are close enough to drive here, you are welcome to come and enjoy this event. If you have questions before I post information, email me.

More Details Later :)

You know, every time I've gone out to eat with you guys, it's been seafood. :)

Sure, but it would be fun to see some SVXes. We have 6 out there already, but you can bring yours. :)

Aly - We are on a Seafood Diet - we see food and then eat it. :D

I can go either weekend. If its the August weekend, I should be able to demo the stiffer springs and the larger sway bars. My girlfriend loves seafood, so I can probably get her to come along as well.

ah hell, there's two cars and two of us: we'll bring the outback, both kayaks, both of us and the mighty ninety-four! (we'll leave the fireplace home, tho)

Any one else going to vote, or say if they are going to come or not. This is also a bump for the event!

I'll be there, ready to eat fish. :)

I was hoping to get a chance to see the yellow one sometime, though. :(

It looks like August wins the weekend. I will write down some details and post them in the near future. We can figure how we will get there. Drive through Tacoma and that way picking up members on the way, or everyone just getting there. :)

Hi guys! I'm very new to all this since I've only had my SVX for about 3 weeks now. This forum has helped me a lot so far, and I'm getting into this huge Subaru excitement! Are the meets open to everyone in the area? If so I'd like to come. Thanks!

Nick:D

Welcome Nick

Good to see someone else from our area. Yes, the meets are open to every one, and if you are interested, there are several meets in the near future. Watch for the details, or ask for more information if you need it. If you email me your email address directly, I will get you some real good information and a form to fill out so we can know more about you. There is also a local SVX site that you may be interested in. It shows pictures of past meets and some of the members. :) The link is below.

Ah man, now I'm going to have to update the site! I'm pretty embarassed of it lately, it hasn't been touched for months. It still shows an "upcoming meet" in April and is missing all the recent pics and info. :(

Come July 1st it looks like my full time job will be sitting at home so I will probably try to get my plan going for a whole new improved site. :) :( :D     :) (mixed feelings)

Count me in for August. I doubt I will be selling it, however it may be a different color by then. Where the heck is Port Townshend?

I will be posting a map and directions on how to get there in the next day or so. Dabob Bay is at the North end of Hood Cannal. It is West of Seattle on the Olympic Pen. :)

Lets see......................

Sat. /Aug 2nd, eating fresh fish in the Northwest & eyeballing Earl's collection.
The next weekend, Sat. /Aug 9th, a crab feast in Baltimore.
Maybe Sun. /Aug 10th watch Harry whoop some Mercedes tailpipe.

Great food, great cars, great people; It doesn't get much better.

I just wish work wouldn't interfere with my weekdays so much. It really puts a cramp in my SVX activities.
