Calling all Coloradans...any anyone else interested in making the trip here....

Myself and sk8ting19 are going to be setting up a meet in the next few weeks. Not 100% sure on the full plans for the day, however we are probably going to be taking them down to one of the local tracks (chances are Bandimere Speedway, rather than Second Creek Raceway, or Pikes Peak Int. Raceway) for a little drag racing. If anyone knows if Second Creek or PPIR is open for full track racing....that would be MUCH more fun.

How interesting would that be having 5-10 SVXer's cruising around the track at 100+mph while adjusting the power leather seats so they have just the right seating position. :D

We are currently looking at the 5th of September at Bandimere speedway. If you need directions please let me know, it is quite easy to find.

If you do not want to race your car (as that is the plan for at least 3 of us) you are more than welcome to hang out with us and watch. I believe spectator passes are $5 or $10 and racing passes are $25.

If you need any more information, please let me know. I'm at ryan@ryanmacdonald.com or my website at http://www.ryanmacdonald.com

Thanks!

Ryan

The fifth will work great. Is bandimere open to the public that day? and what time were you planning?

Bandimere is open on every wednesday for test and tune nights (public drags). We have more info on the meet under the "upcoming meets" section of this forum:

All of us work that day...well not sure about sk8ing19...but I think he said he did, so we are looking at about 5:30-6PM. It's open until like 10PM so we have plenty of time.

Getting to Bandimere is easy,

take I-25 north to C-470
take C-470 east until you see the sign (about 15-20miles)

I can't remember the exact turn off, but I believe it's the Highway 285 exit.

Talk to you later,
Ryan

Ryan,

I have class that day down town untill 3:45, I was thinking I would just head down your way when I get out. Maybe we could all hook up for a bite to eat before we head up. I know I would love to see a group of SVX's driving down C-470 and into Bandemier in a group, rather then one by one.

Well Let me know your thoughts.
Chris

Sounds like just at the track. 5:45PM (Sept 5th) at the track gates I suppose.
